great way to round off a trip to Sharjah, arranging for
their VIP guests to end their experience in the UAE with
friendly and experienced staff smoothing the path of departing
travellers right to the door of their waiting aircraft.
The service, which operates 24-hours daily, exists for
both outgoing and in-coming passengers, who are greeted
at the airport by specially trained staff who meet and
assist passengers to clear airport formalities and pass
through controls in the fastest possible time. Dedicated
"HALA" desks have been opened in both the departure and
arrivals terminal containing a brand new logo designed
for the service, featuring a flying arrow emerging from
two loops.
"Hala" includes escort service special check-in and
immigration facilities. Clients can relax in the airports
first and business class lounges, while staff take care
of airport documentation and paper work. It is offered
to transit passengers passing through Sharjah en-route
from one city to another, with staff providing special
services from the arrival of one aircraft through to the
departure of the next one, taking care of document and
baggage facilities along the way.
Hala service is also available to unaccompanied minors,
elderly passengers or mothers travelling with small children.
It is available to business or leisure travellers, and
can be extended to include baggage collection, assisting
passengers in finding lost items and generally making
a journey through Sharjah more memorable.
"Hala" charges are optimally reasonable. Services
for our arriving passengers cost AED 60 and AED 50 for
departing travellers. A special AED 150 rate applies for
families (2 adults and 2 children) arriving or departing.
Group rates for parties up to 10 passengers cost AED 300
and AED 600 for groups made up of between 11-20 passengers.
Rates for larger numbers can be arranged with "Hala" staff
in advance.
GROUND SERVICES
With a staff of over 900, Sharjah International Airport's
Ground Services division is the airport's largest single
department, responsible for staffing and supervising activity
in the terminal area, ramp, operational services & of
course passenger services. These include, check-in counters,
information and passenger transfer desks and the airport's
Lost & Found property department.
Ramp services for both passenger and cargo operations
are also the responsibility of the Ground Services section,
along with load control for passenger luggage and freight
handling.
The ground services department, is operational around
the clock and utilises a large fleet of modern equipment
to meet the growing requirements of specific carriers
operating through Sharjah.
