Sharjah airport honours customers for useful suggestions, ideas

SHARJAH- The first three winners of the Customer Feedback Questionnaire Programme (CFQ) for the second quarter of 2003 - Saad Issam Mohammed, Alaa Mahmood Ibrahim and Deepu Prasanth - were given their prizes at the main terminal of Sharjah International Airport on June 2.

The winners thanked and appreciated the gesture of Sharjah airport management, where they had the chance to discuss their useful and constructive suggestions and ideas with the airport officials.

Dr Ghanem Al Hajri, Director-General, Abdul Wahab Al Roomi, Director, Department Of Civil Aviation, and Ali Salem Al Midfa, Director (Administration and Commercial), along with the commercial team of Sharjah Airport Authority attended the CFQ Award ceremony.

Dr Al Hajri, expressing his appreciation for the passengers' interaction with the CFQ programme, said: "Sharjah Airport Authority is receiving a huge number of CFQ forms daily, with very encouraging gestures from our clients. All these forms are carefully studied and analysed through our department to find out any realistic suggestions or ideas that can be implemented or developed to improve the services at Sharjah International Airport."

Dr Al Hajri encouraged all passengers to participate in this programme, assuring that all ideas and suggestions or complaints, if any, will be thoroughly considered for areas of improvement.

Sharjah Airport Authority started the CFQ Programme last September to increase the interaction with all passengers using the Sharjah airport.

The CFQ form requests the users of the airport to convey their direct opinions regarding the services and facilities offered at Sharjah airport, with extra space in the form to add more suggestions or ideas that might be implemented to improve the services from the passengers' point of view.

Besides being an ISO requirement, which the Sharjah International Airport is certified under, the CFQ programme is implemented to tie up the client-airport relationship in order to improve the trust and dependency element between Sharjah airport and all passengers.

The best three suggestions will be selected based on constructiveness, clarity and sincerity, and every three months three winners are awarded by the CFQ Award Programme.
