Sharjah.
Sharjah International Airport is gearing
up for TUR 2003, a tourism event in
Gothenburg, Sweden. Airport officials
lead a contingent that includes Sharjah
Commerce and tourism department Authority,
leading hotels in Sharjah and Sharjah
Airport Travel Agency, for the event
being staged from March 20 to 23. The
delegation, which includes Ali Salem
Al Midfa, director administration and
commercial, Sharjah Airport Authority;
Mohammed Ali Al Noman, director, Sharjah
Commerce and tourism Development Authority;
Hossam Talat, general manager, Sharjah
Airport Travel Agency (SATA); and senior
hospitality industry representatives,
proposes to promote the theme ‘Sharjah:
The Destination of 2003’. A 77
square metre stand will showcase a mixture
of culture and heritage with the emirate’s
other attractive tourist activities
such as shopping, beaches, heritage,
museums, cultural highlights, among
others. |
