The packages range from two nights to seven nights depending on the destination selected. "We have various packages to suit the needs of our customers," said Hossam Talaat, general manager. SATA has selected 10 destinations that cover the Middle East, Far East, Europe and the Indian subcontinent. These packages are priced from Dhs940 to Dhs2775. The destinations include London Munich, Amman, Beirut, Doha Cairo, Hyderabad, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. SATA packages are available through Qatar Airways, which recently resumed flights from Sharjah. "We will use Qatar Airways as they operate out of Sharjah and we have to support them when we can," he said. Talaat said that there was still demand for packages to Europe which prompted SATA to provide holiday makers with an additional option. "We expect the European packages to be popular among the expatriates who are booking on longer holidays. We have a lot of European expatriates living in the country and many of them would love to travel to other destinations in the continent before proceeding to their home countries," he said. Those who opt for the packages can also avail of the Airport-city Link, the bus service launched by Sharjah International Airport to transport passengers from the city to the Airport and vice versa. The visa service introduced by Sharjah Airport through SATA have been proving popular. This package includes tickets and visas which will enable residents of the UAE to bring in their family and friends to visit them for a stay of up to two months. Back
